- Uhhh. No. I tried knitting and it was so hard. My mom couldn't figure it out! I recommend not even trying.
- Wel I suggest getting a starters crocheting kit ( maybe @ micheals) to help you and then you can go on from there.
- Go to stores like Michaels or Johanns and get a crochet CD I think it's called, Crochet made easy, it's a CD that tells you different crochet stitches and how to start, it's defintely for beginners. Then get like a crochet packet for example they sell packets that have one crochet needle, yarn, and a simple stich guide for beginners to make a like a scarf. The packet gave me the tools necessary to make a scarf, those things are for beginners. Learn how to make scarfs first then you can get the hang of how to stich with the crochet needle. This is what I did and now I'm making hats. And the cool thing about crocheting is that once you get how to do a stich everything because easy, I catched on in about 3 days!!
- First you should go to craft stores because they have classes to help you start out and I find its easier to learn from a real person. You could also go to the library and look in the how to section or the craft section there is probably a book devoted to crocheting hats (skull caps included) or you could get a start to crochet kit but that will only teach you the basics of crochet. Whatever your learning style look for the meduim you think you'd best learn from.
- go to Joanna's knitting shop
