  1. Uhhh. No. I tried knitting and it was so hard. My mom couldn't figure it out! I recommend not even trying.
  2. Wel I suggest getting a starters crocheting kit ( maybe @ micheals) to help you and then you can go on from there.
  3. Go to stores like Michaels or Johanns and get a crochet CD I think it's called, Crochet made easy, it's a CD that tells you different crochet stitches and how to start, it's defintely for beginners. Then get like a crochet packet for example they sell packets that have one crochet needle, yarn, and a simple stich guide for beginners to make a like a scarf. The packet gave me the tools necessary to make a scarf, those things are for beginners. Learn how to make scarfs first then you can get the hang of how to stich with the crochet needle. This is what I did and now I'm making hats. And the cool thing about crocheting is that once you get how to do a stich everything because easy, I catched on in about 3 days!!
  4. First you should go to craft stores because they have classes to help you start out and I find its easier to learn from a real person. You could also go to the library and look in the how to section or the craft section there is probably a book devoted to crocheting hats (skull caps included) or you could get a start to crochet kit but that will only teach you the basics of crochet. Whatever your learning style look for the meduim you think you'd best learn from.
  5. go to Joanna's knitting shop
