How do I learn to crochet? Are there videos that can teach me?

- There are old books that show pictures step-by-step, or you could also find a crocheting club in your area and get lessons. I don't think there are any videos or even DVDs for that matter that teach crocheting, but then again, I could be wrong.
- you can go to stores such as michaels or joann fabrics and they videos and books that will teach you step by step.
- I learned from a book. It's actually easy with the step by step pictures
- the best way is probably to find out if your local craft store has a class. learning from a person is a lot easier than from a book or video. also, you could do some volunteer work at a local nursing home, i'm sure that one of the old ladies there knows how to crochet and would be thrilled that someone is interested in what she has to say. you could make an old woman feel good and learn a skill at the same time!
- any craft store should have books and videos to help you out
- you can learn from a book, sometimes there are classes at your local craft store, also just ask some random old ladies you are bound to find one eventually. i learned from my grandma.
- Try about .com they even have step by step pix. believe me its easy. go there
- There are some books that can teach you how to croche. You could also ask a person you know if anybody does crocheing. No, I have never seen a video of crocheing yet, but I do recommend buing the book brand MARAN ILLUSTRATED, taught me how to croche!
- Old ladies in nursing homes often know how to crochet. There are a number of them who are also very lonely. So why not kill two birds with one stone. Visit a lonely old lady. She can teach you how to crochet. And you can brighten up her life during her twilight years.
