  1. They have lots of books at the public library or you can buy a how-to-crochet DVD. Here is a link to get you started. anything you want to see is on google or youtube.Good luck! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snPmE5pEpKQ
  2. There's a kit you can get at walmart or hobby lobby called I can crochet. It comes in a blister pack with 5 regular crochet hooks, and afghan hook, stitch markers and three thread bobbins. You can also check out this sight. They have how too instructions for most stitches and such as well as loads of free patterns. Good luck and happy stitching. Nightshadetn
  3. Whiel this is not a "kit", it is fabulous! Crochet Made Easy DVD from Joann Fabrics for $6.99. Couple that with a skein of worsted weight yarn (Caron Simply Soft or Red Heart Super Saver) and a size G crochet hook and you will be off and running! Good luck with your new craft!
  4. 'Kids Crochet' is what my sister used when she started crocheting. It doesn't come with the yarn, but I might add that most kits give you 'acrylic' yarn, which is plastic, and it doesn't feel as nice as wool. Also, the projects are very easy to crochet. Happy crocheting!

  6. Wal-Mart sells a learn how kit for under $ 12. It comes with hook, book, stitch markers, etc. You will need to buy your own yarn. Actually any good how to book will give you directions. Pick out a project, get the proper size hook and yarn and off you go. Good Luck.
