Is it possible to use 2 strands of Patons 5ply Bluebell to substitute for 10 ply yarn when knitting ?

I would be so grateful if someone does know the answer - thankyou

1. you would have to knit a test swatch with the yarn and needles to see if it matches the pattern gauge - if it does then there should be no problems you should ALWAYS knit a test swatch to determine that the gauge is the same as the one in the pattern instructions or the finished item WILL NOT end up the same size as the pattern states
