Stitches

I got 5 stitches on my hand last night. How do I take care of my wound?

I cut myself with a kitchen knife and it's pretty bad. The pain is somewhat ok though.

1. try washing it daily with cold water keep the cut clean dont use that hand very much though rest it a little you'll be fine :) if it worsen's Go see your doctor
2. When I had stitches I was just required to put neosporian on it and then when I got them out I could do anything. I don't know if this would apply to you, but just keep it clean. :] Feel Better.
