2. if you are looking for patterns, crochet.about.com, they have some complete leaflets in pdf. form lionbrand.com, has nice patterns http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/index.html and there are lots more. you may also join a crochet group they often swap patterns. Have fun!
3. A really great site for free crochet patterns is www.freepatterns.com. Membership is free. You need Adobe Acrobat to download the projects. If it's the patterns, there are some great websites that others have listed, and I'll just add one: www.crochetpatterncentral.com This one is great, and has so many free patterns. Some of them you would need Adobe reader, but most of them you do not. If you are interested in hearing stories of others who crochet and love it, you could check out this wonderful forum for crochet at: www.crochetville.org There are many topics discussed, including swaps (where you send things to someone, and they send things back), charities that accept crocheted items, places to post pictures of what you've made recently, questions about how to crochet, how to sell crocheted items, how to teach others to crochet, and just anything you could think of, is there. There are even places to just chat about your day, or ask questions not related to crochet. I don't know if this helps, but I hope you find what you're looking for.
