does the crochet magazines contain charts or written patterns?

2. Check these out. "Magic crochet" and "Decorative crochet" have charts. I find those so much easier.
3. depends on the magazine I guess! I find charts a lot easier to follow
4. Sometimes both.
5. The magazines that have crochet patterns in them (that I saw) have both written instructions and a chart to follow. The crochet books and/or leaflets (that have no advertising) that I have purchased have the written instructions. Both of these (magazines and books/leaflets) have full-color pictures of the completed item. Personally, I like the written instructions. I keep losing my place on the charts!
