Stitches

How many days/weeks postpartum did you lose your stitches if you had them?

I mean from an episiotomy or rip, not c-section. I'm 2wks 2days PP and all of my stitches have disolved/fallen out except 2. One of them itches like crazy and the other is very painful. They don't look/feel like they are close to being gone. It appears that what they are holding together is healed (closed up). Is it common fir the doctor to have to remove rogue stitches?

1. Mine dissolved 2.5-3 weeks post partum. Try some witch hazel pads in your undies. That may relieve the itching a little. If the stitches are still there at 4 weeks I would call the doc and have it looked at. Congrats on the baby!
