Is there anyway to prevent the annoying stitches that come from running?
Sometimes when I walk fast or lightly run, I'll get side stitches. What can I do to stop them?

- when you get a side stitch, lean in the opposite direction and massage where it hurts.
- This is a tough one to be honest, I find it can be brought on by drinking too much water before running, not stretching enough or even feeling nervous combined with fatigue. For me the number one rule is do-not-stop, run it off, think about something else, concentrate on your breathing for example, imagine 1 being blowing out and 2 being inhaling, try running 11..2,11..2,11..2 etc, so two short breaths out then a deeper exhalation. You have to decide if its annoying, if it is then run it off, if its crippling, then stop, but keep walking or you can cause muscles spasms, which dont make your routine any fun at all. Good Luck!
