How soon can I cover my stitches with makeup?

I just got surgery 4 days ago on my cheek to have birthmark removed. Can I go ahead and put makeup on it to conceal the stitches? I get them taken out in 3 days, so will I be able to put makeup on them immediately afterwards if I can't now while they are still in? Thanks.

1. Don't put make-up over your stiches. You will just be setting yourself up for an infection. Infection will cause the wound not to heal correctly & you may end up with a terrible scar. Just ask your Dr. when get them removed.
2. I wouldn't recomment makeup. If you really want to put on makeup, talk to your doctor about mineral makeup and if it is alright to put it on to cover the stitches.
