Stitches

How long after having a wisdom tooth and a molar pulled can the stitches be removed without causing any harm?

They put in dissolvable stitches but they have not dissolved yet. What would be the harm in removing them....say 5 days later after the removal? I am not a bleeder.....sorry, John.

1. I had all uppers removed about a year and half ago, stitches that were in were not dissolvable, and main problem I had was the ends of the stitches would get stuck in my bottom teeth.....i pulled one of the stitches out by accident after 3 days with no problems......3 days later had the rest out by the dentist. So 5 days you shouldnt have much problem at all. Good luck.
2. No big deal. It sounds like you want them out of there....go for it. By the way are you the kind of person that would file a law suit if you bled to death after taking them out??
