Needlework and Weaving in Chicago?

Anybody know of shops or community centers around Chicago that offer lessons in needlework (embroidery, needlepoint, etc) and/or weaving textiles or baskets? I live in Chicago and want a new hobby.

1. Try the Discovery Center (http://www.discoverycenter.cc/index.htm). It's a place that gives lessons on almost anything (using a computer, ballroom dancing, wine tasting, etc.). I'm not positive they have a knitting class, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
