How long does it take for the stitches to dissolve after having a baby?

I had a baby almost two weeks ago. How do I know if the stitches are dissolved?

1. Usually it takes about 6wks. up to 2months either they will dissolve on there own or your doctor can take them out. Good luck.
2. It depends on the kind of stitches that is being used, some takes 14days, while some 40days. more so the body metabolism equally helps in the healing that is the dissolving of the stitches, and it is better to have enough rest and avoid any strenous work. cheers and goodluck. Adeline
