How long does it take stitches to disolve after surgery on your gums?

I had a tooth extracted last Tuesday. They had to cut my gums during the procedure. I have stitches that disolve. They are very annoying and I can feel them rubbing against my cheek and my gums. So how much longer until they are gone?

1. I had surgery when they went and pulled down my teeth. I felt them start to wear away after like maybe 5 days i could feel the difference. But it really sucks when your trying to eat :(
2. It will take a week's time or 10 days if alternate stitches are removed.
3. mine took about two weeks but after a couple of days it wasn't so annoying not sure if they started to dissolve or I just got used to it ...
4. Usually 7 to 10 days.
