With embroidery, how many differrent stitches are there?

  1. Well there are basic running stitches, cross stitch, satin stitch, French knots, etc. It all gets fancier after the basics http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embroidery_stitch
  2. Follow the advice given in the previous answer......and remember you will probably create some of your own stitches along the way....nothing is ever wrong when you are "hand creating" something....enjoy!!
  3. Lots. Like hundreds. Get a good book to use as a resource. You'll use it for life.
