- You can use a syringe with warm salty water or a waterpik to irrigate the socket.
- chew in the front, and swallow in the back its like eating WITHOUT your wisdom teeth usually when they come out the wholes in your jaw are ready for food
- It doesn't matter if you try and chew on the other side or whatever, there will still be food get where the tooth was. Rinse with warm salt water, mouthwash, waterpik, or whatever, but there will still be food to get in there. Just try and keep it cleaned out.
- You should rinse your mouth with warm water with a little salt mixed in the water . do not suck it or try cleaning with your tongue.Rinse often. It should heal in about a week.Rinse dont suck it or use your tongue.
- I had mines taken out almost 3 weeks ago. To keep it clean, I rinse with a large glass of warm salt water after every meal and morning and night. I rinse gently and it takes about 5 mins total. A syringe helps too. I just chew like normal and food still gets stuck but I just rinse afterwards. When my stitches were taken out or fell out, my doc advised me to keep doing the same (rinsing) until they close up in about 2 months. Good luck!
