I have a Bernina 1230 but no manual. How do I reverse a stitch so that it will face the other direction?
I am specifically talking about the buttonhole or applique stitch. I am wondering if there is a button on the machine to have the stitch design face left instead of right.

- On the lower right hand side of the front of your machine there are some buttons. I believe the one on the very bottom row, third one in is the reverse pattern button. There are actually a few buttons that reverse the design, one from side to side and one from top to bottom, you may be able to tell by the little icons. I would recommend that you download a copy of the Bernina 1230 manual. Bernina no longer has them and doesn't have it up on their website either, so you will have to purchase it. I think it costs about $10.00 at www.sewingmanuals.com. They do a great job and you can print it off yourself for the cost of paper and ink. I copied it to CD-rom. Good luck! Jana
