1. you can try a craft shop. that would be your best spot to look.
2. TRY STAR TREK CONVENTIONS.THEY SHOULD KNOW WHERE YOU MIGHT FIND OR SELL YOU ONE.
3. There is a request section on the Designer Network site, as well as a newsletter with lots of free patterns. Highly recommended !
4. There are also programs for your computer where you scan a picture, ect., & it will make a pattern for you. You can customise it, & also reduce the number of colors if the first one is a little more complex than you want. I've used it (I have PC Stitch) to make patterns for a portrait of my cockatoo & the old NASA logo for a teacher of one of my kids who was going to work there. Highly recommended!
5. A free trial download of P C Stitch is avaliable here: http://www.pcstitch.com/ I use this to copy from pictures I want to stitch, and it is wonderful. I can even take pictures off the computer, print them out, and copy them into the program. My husband has a program that can take pictures from the computer and input them directly to the P C stitch, but I haven't learned how to use it yet.
