If I put texture glue on the back of my cross stitch will it stop it from coming undone if i trim it close?
I use texture glue to stick cross stitch motifs onto clothing ie patching jeans. I usually stick a square of the material used for the motif on the jeans. I wonder if i use the glue directly onto the back of the motif only, then will i be able then to cut out the motif really close without it coming undone. I want it so that there is no excess material around the motif, but don't want my work coming undone. If this is unlikely to work, what will?

- THERE IS A PRODUCT CALLED FRAY CHECK AND YOU CAN GET IT IN MOST STORES LIKE JOANN FABRICS OR WALMART IN THE SEWING/CRAFT SECTION...IT IS A SEWING AID (GLUE/SEALER) THAT KEEPS FABRIC FROM RAVELLING....IT DRIES CLEAR AND SHOULD WORK FOR WHAT YOU WANT....I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THE TEXTURE GLUE...I DO KNOW THAT THE FRAY CHECK WORKS VERY WELL INDEED.....
