4. Here's a great one: www.cyberstitchers.com Has hundreds of free patterns. tools, galleries, etc. There are also many designers who have one or more free or 'sample' designs on their websites. If you have favorite designers, start there. (Google is your friend for this = ) Examples of designers with freebies: Chatelaine, Dragon Dreams, Sue Hillis, Mirabilia, Cricket Collection, Lavendar & Lace, Ellen Maurer-Stroh, Ink Circles, Whispered by the Wind, Dancing Violet, Waxing Moon, Passione Ricamo, Jaenne, Papillon, Periphaeria, and many more... Manufacturers & suppliers like Charles Craft, DMC, Kreinik and Coats-Clark (Anchor), Semco, and Michaels have tons of freebies - DMC has a huge selection on their U.S. website. Google 'free cross stitch", "free xs" and "free crossstitch" to start. There are also tons of international sites out there. To find free charts on a lot of the French or Spanish sites, use the term "grilles gratuites" in google.
