Stitches

I am looking for crochet patterns that display collegiate and NFL logos. I am relatively new to crocheting.?

preferably any teams from the carolinas. Oh yeah even basketball teams too.

1. This site has charts for a lot of different logos etc. It should be pretty simple for you to follow in just a basic stitch. You may have to print it out on several pages or else have it sent to a bigger printer. Good luck! http://www.geocities.com/crochetshoppe/patterns_sports.html
2. You can make your own using filet crochet. Just put the pattern on graph paper, filling in the squares that will be done in a solid stitch- the rest of the squares will be in a mesh pattern. If you want to make a blanket with a multi-colored logo try a type of crocheting called tunision crochet. I'll post a likn to a site that has instructions and free patterns.
3. If you are able to get graph paper you can make up your own and then for each little square it would be open or if closed would be a stitch to make the pattern you want.
