How do I remove the upper bobbin from a JML easy stitch? I've just gotten this tiny sewing machine from a charity shop...but I don't know how to remove the top bobbin to change the thread! Bottom Bobbin from a JML easy stitch not picking up? Just wondered if anyone knows why It's not being picked up?? The top is deffiantly threaded correctly and the bottom bobbin is in clockwise with the thread at '9' poisition yet the top thread doesnt seem to be going around to try and loop it? Thanks x

is it easy to sell cross stitch? I just received a lot of cross stitch,needle work, and embroidery stuff from my grandmother. However a lot of it has all ready been started and now just needs to be finished. I love to do all of it, but I have no one to give it to and would rather it not just sit in my closet. How easy is it to accidentally pull out a stitch? I had my wisdom teeth out on Friday and am finally able to eat again. Im afraid to open my mouth very wide because I feel one of the stitches pull a bit and Im afraid it will stretch and start bleeding or lead to dry sockets or something...Any advice? Great thanks! Is it easy for stitches in your mouth to pop out? I just got my wisdom teeth out today, and I had a bunch of stitches. Its now like 5 hours since I went in and I can feel one of the stitches with my tongue, and when I look at in the mirror I can see the end of it. Now I have honestly never had stitches before, is that just where they tied the not? Its also bleeding somewhat I had to put some gauze on it.

How easy is it to replace a double oven ourlet over to a freestanding stove outlet? We currently have an old, harvet gold double oven and a island stove top (in a kitchen that is really too small for an island. Our plan is to remove the double oven and the stove top island, and then move the cabinet that the double oven is in and place a free standing range there. How easy/difficult is it to stitch the electrial components from the double oven to a free standing range?

How do you hand-sew a gathering stitch? I want to make a choker necklace with a fabric flower and ribbon. In order for me to make a fabric flower for the necklace, I have to use a gathering stitch. I don't know how to do this. Can somebody give me some easy directons to do the gathering stitch by hand?
My Singer Featherweight 221 machine is skipping stitches. Any easy fixes? Of course, I'm in the middle of a project that needs to be done by Saturday afternoon and my machine is skipping stiches. It goes about an inch or two before going about a half inch with no stiches and then picking up again. Any easy fixes? I think it might be the thread tension but playing with the tension knob hasn't helped. A 'newer' needle has seemed to help. I'm using what I think is an all purpose needle for mostly cotton, cotton blend fabrics and occasionally velcro. I'm not convinced its just the needle.

I have a boston terrier that was just spayed and need to know easy technique for removing stitches? I have a fiesty boston terrier that was just spayed and I was told my the animal shelter that had it done through a vet that we would need to clip out the stitches in 7 to 10 days. Is there a trick to this or will we just have to hold her and use cuticle scissors (cleaned) to do it?
Knit: Is there an easy way to calculate how to decrease stitches? In the written pattern I have 89 stitches and I'm supposed to decrease 21 stitches evenly across and end up with 68. Why do people get a "stitch in their side" when running or pushing their body? When I go out for my jogs, my routine is about 1.2 miles long. I wear weights on my ankles to make the most of the time and distance and it starts easy, gets hard after a 1/4 mile, and then I get the stitch after about 3/4 of the whole routine. I just wanted to know why anyone would get the stich in their side? Thanks in advance.

How easy is it to rip stitches? How do I heal Virginal Stitches which I got after doctors slit open my virgina to allow easy giving of birth? I understand some people deep their virgina in salt water three times a day. I dont know for how many hours this is supposed to be and how much salt to put in a litre of water. Should the water be warm. What features do you look for when shopping for cross stitch patterns? Which ones are easiest to read? As a point of clarification...I prefer counted cross stitch, not printed cross stitch. I just find some patterns are easier to read than others. For example, patterns that are in four color are sometimes difficult to read because the colors look too similar. Patterns in black and white are easier because there is more distinction between colors. What is your opinion?

I've made scarves, beanies, a pair of wristwarmers...and just recently my first baby blanket. Embroidery on the afghan stitch? I am helping my mother with an afghan and have put it off for weeks now. What brand of sewing machine was it? I found a used sewing machine that could be converted to a locking stitch for easy basting and removal of basting stitches. It also worked as a regular sewing machine as well. I cannot remember if it used cams for various stitches or not.. Judging from the overall look of the machine and the cabinet it was in I would think it was from the 1950-early 1970's. Do you know which make and model it might be from?
