Who's Lyrics are Deeper? Scott Stapp... The dust has finally settled on the field of human clay Just enough light has shown through To tell the night from the day We are incomplete and hollow For our maker has gone away Who is to blame? We'll surely melt in the rain Say I The stillness is so lifeless with no spirit in your soul Like children with no vision do exactly what they're told Being led into the desert For your strength will surely fade Who is to blame? We'll surely melt in the rain Say I Frantic, faction, focus The world breathes And out forms this misconception we call man But I don't know him No, I don't know him Because he lies Say I or... James Hetfield... LOAD (1996) (Hetfield, Ulrich) And know I wait my whole lifetime... for you And know I wait my whole lifetime... for you I ride the dirt; I ride the tide... for you I search the outside, search inside... for you To take back what you left me I know I'll always burn to be No one seeks so I may find And now I wait my whole lifetime Outlaw of Torn Outlaw of Torn And I'm Torn So on I wait my whole lifetime... for you So on I wait my whole lifetime... for you The more I search, the more my need... for you The more I bless, the more I bleed... for you You make me smash the clock and feel I'd rather die behind the wheel Time was never on my side So on I wait my whole lifetime Outlaw of Torn Outlaw of Torn Outlaw of Torn And I'm Torn Hear me And if I close my mind in fear Please pry it open See me And if my face becomes sincere Beware Hold me And when I start to come undone Stich me together Save me And when you see me strut Remind me of what left this outlaw Torn Hear me And if I close my mind in fear Please pry it open See me And if my face becomes sincere Beware Hold me And when I start to come undone Stitch me together Save me And when you see me strut Remind me of what left this outlaw Torn
What is your interpretation of these lyrics? Great Big White World ------Marilyn Manson In space the stars are no nearer They just glitter like a morgue And I dreamed I was a spaceman Burned like a moth in a flame And our world was so fucking gone But I'm not attached to your world Nothing heals and nothing grows Because it's a great big white world And we are drained of our colors We used to love ourselves, We used to love one another All my stitches itch My prescription's low, I wish you Were Queen Just for today In a world so white what else could I say? And hell was so cold All the vases are so broken And the roses tear our hands all open Mother Mary miscarry But we pray just like insects The world is so ugly now Because it's a great big white world And we are drained of our colors We used to love ourselves, We used to love one another All my stitches itch My prescription's low, I wish you Were Queen Just for today In a world so white what else could I say? I love this song. It's so prevalent in modern American culture.

these are the lyrics but what is the song today was my unlucky day, i missed the bus and then the train and my boots filled up with dew. today was my unlucky day, i lost my conkers in a game and then i lost my marbles too. today was my unlucky day, i broke the swing down by the lake and i fell in to a hole that someone had dug deep deep deep down through the mud and i was falling. but i'll be coming home for you, my heart is fond enough, you've not been around. i'll be coming home for you, now that i have learnt how a heart can hurt, but no one owns the sea, 'cept you and me. today was my unlucky day, i sat down underneath the tree but all the leaves fell off. today was my unlucky day, i went down to the library, but all the books were out. being read by other eyes, being burnt by other spies for their information, page by page and book by book, bell and how to play hook a duck and beat the system. but i'll be coming home for you, my heart is fond enough, you've not been around. i'll be coming home for you, now that i have learnt how a heart can hurt, but no one owns the sea, 'cept you and me. today was my unlucky day, i broke the swing down by the lake and i fell in to a hole that someone had dug deep deep deep down through the mud and i was falling, through the centre of the earth and i'm wondering how does this thing gravity work because i think i must be halfway there. will you stop me now before Australia? i'll be coming home for you, my heart is fond enough, you've not been around. i'll be coming home for you, now that i have learnt how a heart can hurt. well i'll be coming home for you, i've heard that you're in bits i hope that i can fix it. i'm coming home to you, your wounds. i've got a needle and thread to stitch back up your head, but no one owns the sea, 'cept you and me.
What should my title be for my lyrics? I'm sorry I'm blind I'm sorry all these things were made up  in my mind What can I do I lost two years cryin' over you Time that's gone  My heart's bruised and burned  All over one Can I ever find a love that's mine or am I done  I'm down in dumps  I'm tyrin' to think My minds blank And my worlds come undone  Where do I turn  When everything in my world has gone wrong I can't remember a thing  Like yesterday was another dream  I fell apart and can't stitch the seams  When the memories fold Then I know   It's time for me to hit the road I'm sorry I'm blind I'm sorry all these things were made up  in my mind What can I do I lost two years cryin' over you Time that's gone  My heart's bruised and burned  All over one Can I ever find a love that's mine or am I done  [All lyrics are property of their sole owner (Me)]
Opinions on my poem/song lyrics please? What is your interpretation of it? It's called Handicapped I made it out of 3 poems put together. They seemed to fit together pretty well Part 1. Little Animals Here, I am here Why are you sitting so close? Right in front of your pressed noses You'll hurt your sensitive pupils [Little animals] You'll hurt your sensitive pupils [Little animals] You'll hurt your sensitive pupils [Little animals] You're all cripples And I'm just handicapped Snippet of hair, cutting some slack Cup your stitched spirits [Little animals] Cup your stitched spirits [Little animals] Cup your stitched spirits [Little animals] Part 2. The Eulogy of Boredom What's the point of life? To be bored to death We all deserve a little excitement in our dull lives  Yeah, we all need a little excitement in our dull lives All we want is a little excitement in our dull lives So don't judge us I'll live through whoever I choose If it's even living at all Part 3. Burning Out Yellow Dwarf Shield those eyes For I am a burning out yellow dwarf Fancy invitations grasps attention Celebrate something because of nothing Watch it start up! Light up! Then quickly die down Shield those eyes For I am a burning out yellow dwarf Fancy invitations grasps attention Celebrate something because of nothing Watch it start up! Light up! Die down! Light back up! Then quickly fade out Fade out Fade out Fade out Thanks for reading @ Emma I wrote it that way so it seems that even though their are people who are worse off then I am. I still get the pity, attention, and some of the advantages that handicapped people get. Like it's an excuse to be treated better than everyone else And btw if you don't know was a Yellow Dwarf is that's what scientists use to refer to The Sun @ Lovechild should I change the line to: "A cup for your stitched spirits"? @ ski Just read it all with the "part" section. That might make it flow better. And this is experimental so I didn't intend for it to have a direct meaning. It's sort of nonlinear
Philosophy: Give your own personal interpretation of my lyrics please? It's called Schedule (Burning Out Yellow Dwarf) Here, I am here Why are you sitting so close Right in front of your pressed noses You'll hurt your sensitive pupils [Little animals] You'll hurt your sensitive pupils [Little animals] You'll hurt your sensitive pupils [Little animals] I, I'm not a cripple But you are all handicapped Color coded and wearing matching tags A cup for your stitched spirits [Little animals] A cup for your stitched spirits [Little animals] A cup for your stitched spirits [Little animals] Spit! Spit! Spit! Spit! Spit! Spit! Rinse! Repeat! Repeat! The schedule mustn't be broken On and on and on 'til you die of boredom We all deserve little excitement in our dull lives Yeah, we all need a little excitement in our dull lives All we want is a little excitement in our dull lives So don't judge us We live through whoever we choose if it's even living at all There has to be something better We were all once raised somewhere better than here Nursed our fat children on disappointment Please, no more fragile promises Have we not at least earned that? Padlock the gates in your eyes For I am the burning out yellow dwarf Fancy invitations grasps attention Celebrate something because of nothing Watch it start up! Light up! Then quickly die down Padlock the gates in your eyes For I am the burning out yellow dwarf Big long words grasps attention Lucky to have an entire thesaurus in my pocket  Watch it start up! Light up! Is he interested in me....? Easy question, I promise!? So when I was talking to this guy he said to me "This song is for you" then once I listened to it I said "I love that song" and he said "I was hoping you would" These are the lyrics: In space the stars are no nearer Just glitters like a morgue And I dreamed I was a spaceman Burned like a moth in a flame And our world was so fucking gone I'm not attached to your world Nothing heals and nothing grows Because it's a great big white world And we are drained of our colors We used to love ourselves, We used to love one another All my stitches itch My prescription's low, I wish you were queen Just for today In a world so white what else could I say? What does this song mean? This a Say Anything song called "Baby Girl, I'm a Blur," I want to figure out what the meaning behind it is, so I was wondering if you can help me... Here are the lyrics. Baby girl, I'm a blur I spoiled, stunted, sickened her. God and Death are none of my concern No, philosopher. Deep in your heart, stitched the key And only one can set me free from the beast where I dwell and let the saints all burn in hell. So take what you want from me, heyyyy And take all I've got from me, heyyyy You're with me all the time The drugs can have my mind, love You own the rest you'll find And you're with me all the time On the roof, burning black, the city smoked from the attack But on the roof, we love the beast to death The sweat and whiskey breath So take what you want from me, heyyyy And take all I've got from me, heyyyy You're with me all the time The drugs can have my mind, love You own the rest you'll find And you're with me all the time We fall right down We get back up again thats how we be you and me I would not crowd, I would not smother you I'd let you breathe, over me We're on a sinking ship, but we're escaping it We're on a sinking ship, but we're escaping We're on a sinking ship, but we're escaping it We're on a sinking ship, we're escaping You're with me all the time You're with me all the time You're with me all the time You're with me all the time No matter where I go you're on my mind I stumble home and pray I'll find With your flamethrower eyes and jilted smile You'll soothe my wounds and drain my bile You're with me all the time. Please and Thank you.
Hello R&P! I thought I'd do a feature on Deathrock...? because it is a pretty fun genre and I have only met a few who are familiar with it here. Deathrock, also called Gothic Punk or Death Punk, should not be confused with Death Metal (for the two share nothing in common). It is often described as a blend between 80's Goth (Bauhuas and the like) and Punk, containing raw and energetic instrumentals with a spooky atmosphere. It originated and emerged from the L.A. Punk scene (with bands like 45 Grave, Kommunity FK and Christian Death), and also London (with 'Positive Punk' outfits like The Sex Gang Children, UK Decay and The Southern Death Cult) during the late 1970's and early 1980's. The music often contains tribal drumming, a very prominent bass, and horror/surreal/religious imagery inspired lyrics. As a whole, the genre is generally more toung-and-cheek (sometimes silly) and fun than traditional Gothrock. Like Punk, it was also built on a strong DIY ethic and has a general distrust of mass consumerism and self proclaimed authoritarian figures.
