Why are hobby stores no longer carrying needlework kits? I went into a Michael's today and couldn't find anything, except for DMC floss. I asked where all the kits were and was told they no longer carry them and neither does JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby. She said I'd have to go online to order from somewhere. What's this all about? Is the only way going to be through online ordering now?

Does anyone know where to get a needlework pattern of the Indiana state flag? I need a counted pattern or kit for needlepoint or cross-stitch for a school project. thanks!

Help repairing a hole in a plaster wall. I've never done this before so I'm clueless.? The apartment I live in now has plaster walls and I used a kit like this http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&productId=202341659&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=202341659&cm_mmc=shopping-_-googlebase-_-D25X-_-202341659&locStoreNum=1950&marketID=234 to hang it. I used the proper weight hook for the framed needlework but the damn thing ripped right out of the wall and fell. Almost everything I have hung in the apartment has fallen out despite the fact that I used the proper equipment for what I hung. So now I'm left with these missing chunks out of the wall and I don't want the landlord to be pissed should he ever see them so I need to fix them fast. What type of filler can I use for Plaster Walls? I know I'll have to sand then paint the area but what would be the best filler and tools for the job? What grit sandpaper should I use? Thank you for any help you can provide. It is far under the size of my palm. It is far smaller than the bottom of a coffee mug. Under 3 inches across.
