Has anyone made the crochet afghan Stained Glass Beauty from the Afghans for all Seasons book? My daughter in law fell in love with the Stained glass Beauty in the Afghans for all Seasons book. The pattern doesn't give the colors just MC and CC. Has anyone made this and can maybe suggest yarn and colors?
Why do the afghans that I crochet come out uneven and curly around the edges? I have crocheted two afghans. Both of them are uneven around the edges. It is obvious when I fold them. I can't get the ends to match. What can I do to fix this? Any suggestions? Well, the edges aren't supposed to be ripply. I just did some rows of single crochets and some rows of double crochets...and now they are all ripply and uneven. Should I just undo it and do only single crochets around the edge?

How should I clean Afghans? I recieved a bunch of crochet afghans for my son when he was born. How should I wash them? Should I use a special detergant for them. He is a year old now so it doesn't have to be a baby detergant. I havn't even let my son use them yet. I'm too afraid he is going to rip them apart. Should I use a gentle cycle?

Why are my corners folding over on crochet afghan? I have about 7" of my blanket crocheted 3 rows single, 1 row triple, alternating and the top corners are folding over...The sides are even though so I'm not sure what's going on. Is this even a problem or will it correct itself? Thanks!
