Summary: using grounded boats as markers and keeping in clear wind Suddenly we saw the Skallies way off to leeward We tried to avoid tacking for starboard tack boats but ducked them instead We followed round Ryde sands but then decided to go for Cowes We could see Needle Work anothe HRSC boat down to leeward At some point they must have realised that they had gone too far
